Right-to-Know Law Policy
Act 3 of 2008, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law (RTKL), took effect on January 1, 2009. In compliance with this law, the Township of Baldwin has enacted the following Policy and Fee Schedule.

Requests for public records under the Right to Know Law may be submitted in person, by mail, or by facsimile to the Township's designated Open Records Officer, using the following Form:

Contact Information for the Office of Open Records and Instructions for Filing an Appeal:
Any person aggrieved by a decision of the Township's Open Records Officer may file an appeal with the Office of Open Records, within fifteen (15) business days of the mailing date of the Township's Notice of Denial. - Response to requests: An agency has five business days from the date its open records officer receives the request to issue an initial response.
- Final response: If an agency says it needs more time, it may take up to an additional 30 calendar days to provide the records or issue a final response.
- Appeals: A denial of records may be appealed within 15 business days of the mailing date of the denial or partial denial.
